Scientific Research - kindly note that the scientific research detailed below is specific to Rose-Hip Vital and does not to refer to generic rosehipArthritis is Australia’s leading cause of disability and chronic pain. Our ageing population shows a high incidence of Arthritis with over 3.85 million people suffering. We lose 213,000 work or school days a year due to Arthritis pain and disability with over 8.5 million visits to doctors (GPs), 2.2 million specialist visits and 1.4 million visits to other health practitioners. (source: MIS data 2000) There is now Clinically Tested Arthritis reliefRose-Hip Vital undertakes regular research and testing to see how many people benefit from taking it and find out their improvements. Some of the remarkable effects proven in laboratory testing include:
Dr Kaj Winther, MD, DMSci, from the department of Clinical Biochemistry, Fredricksberg Hospital, University of Copenhagen, Denmark, has been involved in researching and testing Rose-Hip for over a decade. How Rose-Hip Vital vs. synthetic Vitamin CClinical trials show that Rose-Hip Vital’s natural Vitamin C is absorbed more effectively than the synthetic version due to its high concentration. Blood levels for Vitamin C were measured 2 and 4 hours after ingestion. AIM: Study reduction of pain and stiffness of Osteoarthritic joints to see whether Rose-Hip Vital would improve daily activities or quality of life of patients. 112 patients with Osteoarthritis of the hip, knee, neck or wrist were randomly allocated treatment with either Rose-Hip Vital or a placebo for a total of six months. In this double-blind cross-over test, Group A received 5 placebo capsules twice daily for 3 months, then switched to capsules with Rose-Hip Vital for another 3 months; vice-versa Group B. CONCLUSION: Data suggests that Rose-Hip Vital significantly reduces pain and stiffness and augments general well-being in patients with Osteoarthritis. Results also suggest the action of Rose-Hip Vital is protracted.
Our Rose-Hip Vital Research ContinuesOn top of the many success stories and anecdotal evidence of its effectiveness in treating Arthritis, Osteoarthritis and Rheumatoid Arthritis, we put Rose-Hip Vital under the scientific microscope.
